but at Wake Forest University they wanted to show that beetroot
actually increases blood flow to a specific area of the brain. An area
of the brain where blood flow lessens as we age causing memory loss and the onset of dementia.
Results
of the study indicate that the high nitrate content of beetroot juice
given to the 70 year old participants increased the blood flow to the
white matter in the frontal lobes. The part of the brain associated with
degeneration that leads to dementia and other cognitive conditions. A good reason to include beet juice in your daily diet if you are interested in improving your memory.

is a lighter tasting version. Perhaps a good place to begin. Experiment
with more beet as you get used to the taste. This juice is rich in
betacarotine, vitamin C, potassium and antioxidant nutrients.
The
raw beetroot is an acquired taste so don’t worry about changing the
amount of ingredients or choosing totally different ones to make your
