No Stress, Anti Aging Tip!

As a former beautician I can tell you that the worst single cause of aging looks is stress.We need to bust the stress! But most of us don’t recognize that we are stressed. We just feel tired, agitated and overwhelmed. These feelings cause us to hold permanent facial expressions of doubt, unease even fear. This causes the wrinkles and has a bad effect on our health.

We don’t get enough and what we do get is poor quality sleep.The old “Beauty Sleep” thing that our mothers talked about is so true!During the night our body is in restore and repair mode. To make the most of that we need to get enough deep restful sleep. Anything that relaxes us will give us a better chance of getting that sleep.For me it could be a refreshing walk and for someone else Yoga. Whatever it is that helps us to sleep soundly will have an anti aging effect on our skin and the way we look.I enjoyed your comments Sandra. Thought you wouldn’t mind me adding my thoughts.
JuneI now teach Yoga and have found a few methods of discovering what it is that causes us stress so we can make changes.1. Are you doing too much?
2. What could you delegate?
3. Have you lost control over an area of your life, that you need to claw back?
4. Do you say yes when you really want to say no?
5. Are you available 24/7? Phone, Cell, Skype, Email, SMS and Social Media?
Answer these questions on a piece of paper and begin with small changes. Allow yourself quiet time and time with friends.The best tip I can give any woman of 60 is to take up Yoga in a group. Learn how to relax and keep your body supple. It makes no difference how old you are or how much you weigh, Yoga will have amazing effects on your wellbeing. I promise!
